New at Verndale

 

Last month, Verndale received two awards from Sitecore CMS, further solidifying its position as an industry leader in strategy, user experience and implementation with the platform. Verndale was awarded the 2010 Sitecore North American Site of the Year for work on the Goodwin Procter corporate website. Additionally, Engineering Manager, Sean Connell was recognized as one of only twenty Sitecore Most Valuable Professionals for demonstrating extensive technical expertise and leadership within the Sitecore community. Thank you to our partners at Sitecore, our clients and the entire Verndale team who have made these accolades possible.  

Verndale will be exhibiting at the Nonprofit Technology Network’s (NTEN) 2011 Nonprofit Technology Conference on March 17th in Washington, D.C. This three-day event provides nonprofit professionals with the opportunity to collaborate, innovate and maximize effectiveness with a wide mix of social events, seminars, trainings and resources focusing on technology. 

We’d like to welcome Paul Caponetti as our newest Tech Lead. Paul comes to us from Brainshark, Inc. where he was employed as a Senior Software Engineer. In addition to significant engineering experience, Paul also holds extensive Sitecore developer expertise. Prior to working for Brainshark, Inc., Paul was the CMS Lead/Sitecore Expert for Bigbad, Inc.

Amit Shinde joins us as a Support Engineer. Prior to Verndale, Amit worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai, India where he analyzed and maintained supply chain applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL server 2000. Amit holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai as well as an M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

Namita Chitre also joins us as a Support Engineer. Namita’s previous work experience includes work at Tata Consulting Services as a Software Engineer. Namita holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and recently received her M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University. 

Lastly, we want to congratulate Standard Pacific Homes and Casner & Edwards, LLP on the recent launches of their corporate websites and welcome Grand Circle Travel, Hollingsworth & Vose and The Heritage Foundation as this month’s newest clients.
