Posted November 9, 2009

If you are running a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign within Google Adwords, you probably know about the option to advertise on the Google Content Network. Google has relationships with hundreds of thousands of websites that reach 80% of global internet users, which allows advertisers to place text, image, o r video ads on these sites. There are two avenues for advertising on the content network: Automatic Placements and Managed Placements. With Automatic Placements, Google uses contextual targeting to match the keywords in your campaign to the content on its publishers websites. Managed Placements allows you to choose and manage the websites your ads will appear on. Work with your search team or vendor to determine which targeting option is best for your PPC campaign.
