Ensure Sitelinks Are Best Representing Your Site
Posted
August 3, 2009
Google Sitelinks are links under a listing that typically appear on a branded-search for your site, which allow users to access deeper beyond the homepage. These links are automatically generated by Google based off of a variety of factors – mainly internal linking patterns throughout the site. Google does not give webmasters full control over how they display these links, but they do allow you to remove any of them in Google Webmaster Tools. Work with your search vendor to ensure your site's internal linking is formatted to allow Google to represent the most favorable sitelinks in your listing.
