Give Them a Second Chance with Google AdWords Remarketing

Posted October 18, 2010

In March of this year, Google introduced Remarketing, which allows search advertisers the ability to ‘remarket’ to users who once came to your site via a PPC ad by showing them tailored ads on sites throughout the Google Content Network (granted users are on the same machine or didn’t clear their cookies). Since launch, thousands of advertisers have touted its effectiveness in improving conversion rates. Google AdWords has a whole section dedicated to Interest-Based Advertising, which lists out different strategies for creating a more relevant and targeted advertising strategy aimed at your audience. Work with your PPC Management team to get a remarketing strategy in place that gives your audience a second chance at converting.
