Google AdWords and Google Analytics New Reporting Functionality

If you advertise with PPC Ads using Google AdWords, you should leverage the new AdWords reporting integration with Google Analytics. Last month, Google announced that it released the new reporting functionality to a beta group, but it is now available to everyone. By integrating AdWords data into Google Analytics, you are able to see detailed visitor data from your PPC traffic. Pages/Visit, Avg. Time on Site, New Visits, and Bounce Rate are all metrics you can now merge into your PPC analysis reporting. Even if you are using a different analytics package like Omniture or Webtrends, adding the Google Analytics code snippet to your site and importing your AdWords data into Google Analytics is invaluable information. Work with your PPC Management team to ensure you are utilizing all of the available metrics to help with your PPC performance analysis.
