Make Sure Your URLs are Search Engine Friendly

If the URLs on your site are long and difficult to remember, you might want to rethink the way you name your pages. For example, http://www.yoursite.com/content/page.php?12345 is not a URL that looks good in the eyes of Google. Consider creating cleaner and simpler URLs such as http://www.yoursite.com/content/page/12345.html. Avoid using parameters and strange characters at all costs. If your site is already set up in a way that makes your URLs non-search engine friendly, don?t worry! A simple mod-rewrite of your URLs is an easy solution to get them in the correct format.
