Omit Traffic Data from Members of Your Organization

Unless you have manually set rules within your Analytics program to exclude traffic from your organization's IP addresses, your traffic data includes visits from everyone - both members and non-members of the organization. To get a better understanding of how your audience is interacting with your site, you may want to omit traffic data from colleagues within your organization. This can be done within most Analytics progra m s, such as Google Analytics, Omniture, and WebTrends. Work with your vendor to strategize whether you should be filtering out traffic from your organization.
