Background:
Founded in 1949, Chuckran Auto Parts, Inc is a family-owned and operated business that's grown from a small parts yard to one of New England's largest complete recycling facilities, handling in excess of 20,000 autos, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks annually. Providing delivery services for their used parts sold, roll-off container services, and daily transport of automotive vehicles to their recycling facility on a daily basis, Chuckran Auto has been serving the New England area for over 60 years.
Need:
Chuckran was looking for a way to enhance their online presence while providing their audience with a fresh look and feel that made for easier website navigation and search capabilities.
Solution:
The new site for Chuckran Auto was developed using the WordPress Platform. This scalable solution provides an easy way to administer and update information on their new site. In addition to the development of the WordPress Framework, Verndale integrated a used parts inventory search through Car-Part.com using IFrames.
Results:
The result is a cost-effective, scalable solution that offers the control and flexibility to modify over time. In addition, IFrames’ search integration allows visitors to search through Car-Part.com without the need to leave their new site. The new look and logo designed by Verndale gives Chuckran Auto a modern feel that fits the image of a respected, long-standing business.
