Goodwin Procter is one of the nation’s leading law firms, with 900 attorneys practicing in eight offices throughout the globe.
Need:
Verndale was initially called upon to add new features and improvements to Goodwin Procter’s content management system. But after an audit of the firm’s CMS, Verndale presented alternative recommendations.
Solution:
After developing a detailed set of requirements with Goodwin Procter, Verndale performed a complete technology analysis to determine how the firm's needs could best be met. The Verndale team—keeping an eye on long-term advantages—prepared a series of practical approaches, including a full replacement of the existing CMS.
We presented a series of "Good, Better and Best" options, detailing the performance, benefits and pricing for each. Goodwin Procter chose Sitecore, a third-party solution and Verndale’s IT staff worked closely with the firm to ensure the CMS met their functional needs but remained easy to use.
Results:
The updated GoodwinProcter.com is now easier to update, but also enjoys a greater overall visibility, thanks to Verndale's optimization of content for search. The site enjoys high search rankings and consistently lands in the top spots for targeted keywords.
