About the Inside Sales Representative Position
Verndale is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to join its growing Sales & Marketing Team. The qualified candidate will be calling on Director, VP, and C-Level Executives within marketing, IT and IS departments to introduce Verndale’s Web services and product offerings. The goal of the Inside Sales Rep will be to introduce Verndale to new prospective clients and to schedule an introductory meeting between our senior sales team and the prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Call new customers to cultivate new business
- Logging 60 calls per day
- Converting calls to qualified scheduled meetings – ideally 3-6 per week
- Building call lists in conjunction with marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Ability to cold call
- Understand our client/prospects organizational dynamics
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills are imperative
- Ideal candidate will have a history of success as a cold caller or in other inside sales functions
Compensation
- Compensation will consist of a base salary plus commission paid for every qualified meeting scheduled.
