About the Project Manager Position
The key to success in this position is to actively manage multiple web-based projects throughout all phases of the Verndale project lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, scope definition/refinement, project documentation, and the general project management of both the client and internal team relationships. The person selected will be responsible for project planning, scope management, cost management, risk management, internal and external communication about project progress, and contributing to software delivery process improvement initiatives. Verndale's aggressive growth projections are dependent on a talented, motivated, personable, and innovative Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage multiple web-based projects concurrently.
- Act as liaison between Verndale internal teams and clients.
- Develop and maintain critical project documentation through the entire project life cycle for web projects.
- Successfully manage changes to project scope, as requested by client.
- Ensure successful transition of delivered software to production.
- Maintain successful client relationships after project closure.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years experience in software project management with a demonstrated track record of successful implementations.
- The ability to cultivate relationships with clients.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Must be flexible and comfortable with the changing demands of a rapidly-growing and fast-moving company.
- Experience in implementing project management office and/or software engineering process improvements is a significant plus.
- Experience dealing with C-level officers is valuable, as is a consulting background.
