Google Apps is a suite of applications that includes Gmail, Google Calendar (shared calendaring), Google Talk (instant messaging and Voice over IP audio and video conferencing), Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms, and Presentations (online document hosting and collaboration), Google Sites (project sites and secure customer portals), Google Video, and Google Message Security (advanced spam and virus protection).
It's no wonder that with such a robust offering, competitive price points and hassle free maintenance that more and more emerging and mid-sized businesses are leveraging this suite. Positioned very competitively against the likes of Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes, some would consider Google Apps far superior. However, because Google Apps is using the relatively new concept of 'cloud computing', many businesses are cautious with the suites adoption.
Gradually, organizations are realizing that having and managing physical hardware in house is no longer needed for traditional business email and calendaring. Add in the laundry list of collaborative features, security and overall cost savings and Google Apps could be the right fit for your organization.
Sign up for the October 6th webinar - Google Apps: Robust Email, Calendaring, and Collaboration for Your Growing Business and learn if Google Apps is right for your business.
