The Challenge
BECA faced a challenge many growing organizations encounter. They had outgrown their website. What once functioned as a simple digital presence had become outdated, difficult to manage, and structurally cluttered. Repurposed components, inconsistent navigation, and an accumulation of content without long term planning left the site feeling heavy and unintuitive. While it was not broken, it lacked the clarity, scalability, and flexibility needed to support BECA’s continued growth and evolving programs.
The Solution
To address this, we rebuilt the site from the ground up with a future focused mindset. We reimagined the information architecture to create intuitive pathways, streamlined navigation, and scalable content groupings for programs, events, milestones, news, and member features. A modular, component based design system with built in guardrails empowered BECA’s team to manage content confidently within WordPress using Gutenberg blocks and patterns. Visually, we elevated the brand through a refined aesthetic, elegant typography, bespoke iconography, and a photography forward approach that centered BECA’s community.
The Outcome
The result is a modern, flexible platform designed to grow alongside the organization. The new site balances clarity with sophistication, offering structured galleries, templated content systems, and interconnected core sections that highlight members, classes, and events. Built on a responsive, fluid grid and supported by thoughtful development and content migration, the platform delivers a significantly improved editorial experience, ensuring BECA can evolve its digital presence with confidence, consistency, and ease.
