CHALLENGE

Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC, a Boston-based asset management firm, needed a partner who could take a rebrand from design to implementation, and could deliver improved user engagement across the site and marketing communication channels. They selected Verndale to validate creative deliverables, identify strategic gaps needed for a successful Episerver implementation, and manage the development plan for a phased release of a new GMO.com.

SOLUTION

A comprehensive strategy, design, and measurement planning exercise enabled the Verndale team to establish a technical foundation built for better engagement, and a data-driven marketing automation approach that would deliver improved performance for customer communications.

OUTCOME

GMO invigorated the engagement of their customer base, with users on the site engaging at a higher rate, visiting nearly four pages per session and converting nearly 36% of the time. In addition since the launch of the new site over 150,000 emails have been sent to targeted GMO clients with an open rate of nearly 45%.
