Verndale, a digital experience agency specializing in technology solutions, continues its commitment to community impact through its Verndale Impact Program. In its ongoing pursuit of philanthropy, Verndale announces the success of its annual seasonal fundraising event, the Ticky Tacky Fundraiser, that took place on Giving Tuesday.
The Verndale Impact Program, established several years ago, has been instrumental in channeling the company's passion for philanthropy, pro-bono initiatives, and volunteerism. The Ticky Tacky Fundraiser, an integral part of this program, has evolved into a beloved Verndale tradition, aligning with the company's ethos of giving back to the communities it serves.
Ticky Tacky, born out of the need to reimagine fundraising efforts during the pandemic, is a company-wide event designed to rally Verndale team members during the holiday season. The name, inspired by a playful mishearing of the term "Tricky Tray" from New Jersey, embodies the essence of amusement and charity.
The Ticky Tacky event is a global charity fundraiser that embraces a hybrid format to accommodate virtual and in-person participation. This year's initiative supported four remarkable employee-selected, foundations, two in the United States—Girls Who Code and Victory Junction—and two in Latin America—Fundación Por Una Vida and Jóvenes Contra el Cáncer.
Verndale encourages employee participation by offering 20 incredible prizes, open to anyone contributing to these causes. Moreover, the company matches employee donations.
Verndale is an independent digital experience agency purpose-built to help marketing and technology leaders unlock value in the customer journey. From its offices in Boston, Los Angeles, and Quito, Verndale designs and builds web, mobile, and commerce solutions that bring brands and their customers closer together.
